Partners & Supporters
Help Us Open Doors for Athletes
International Athletes for Democracy believes meaningful opportunities are created through strong relationships. Universities, sporting organisations, coaches, mentors, community organisations and individual supporters can all play a role in helping international athletes explore sporting and educational pathways.
Why Partnership Matters
International athletes may need more than talent and determination to understand and pursue opportunities in unfamiliar sporting and educational environments. Trusted guidance, appropriate networks and supportive organisations can make those pathways easier to navigate.
By working with International Athletes for Democracy, partners and supporters may contribute knowledge, mentoring, access to relevant networks, educational pathways, sporting opportunities, resources or financial support that helps advance the organisation's mission.
How to Get Involved
Ways to Get Involved
Universities & Educational Institutions
Support Educational Pathways
Universities, colleges and other educational institutions can explore opportunities to support international athletes through appropriate study pathways, student support, information, introductions or other forms of collaboration.
Where scholarships, flexible study arrangements or other opportunities are available, institutions may choose to discuss these directly with IAD and participating athletes.
Sporting Clubs & Organisations
Create Sporting Connections
Clubs, academies, associations and other sporting organisations can help athletes better understand training, development and competition pathways. Where appropriate, IAD may facilitate introductions between athletes and relevant organisations.
All selection, participation and placement decisions remain with the athlete and the relevant sporting organisation.
Coaches & Mentors
Share Your Experience
Coaches, former athletes, administrators and other experienced professionals may be able to support athletes by sharing knowledge, perspective and practical guidance.
Mentoring opportunities can be considered based on the athlete's needs, the mentor's experience and availability, and the suitability of the connection.
Corporate & Foundation Support
Support the Mission
Businesses, foundations and other organisations may support IAD through funding, expertise, services, resources, introductions or other forms of collaboration aligned with the organisation's mission and values.
Potential partnerships are considered individually to ensure they are appropriate, transparent and consistent with IAD's non-partisan approach.
Individual Supporters
Help Make Opportunity Possible
Individuals can support the organisation through volunteering, professional expertise, introductions, advocacy for the organisation's mission or financial contributions when donation facilities are available.
Financial support can help IAD deliver athlete support activities, strengthen relevant networks and develop the organisation's programmes and services.
